Sally Bloch, PhD., co-founder of AspergerLife, LLC, is a fully licensed psychologist with over 25 years experience working with children, adolescents, and families. Dr. Bloch received her Ph.D. in 1989 from the University of Windsor. She provides psychotherapy for individuals and families to address emotional issues such as anxiety and depression, learning issues, and behavior problems. In addition to traditional psychotherapeutic services, Dr. Bloch (with Diane Nancarrow, SLP/CCC) facilitates groups for children and adolescents who have difficulties with social relationships.

Sally also has extensive experience in psychological and educational testing. She is an expert diagnostician of learning disabilities, ADHD, autistic spectrum disorders, and emotional issues. She is also adept at using test data to gain a better understanding of a child’s learning style,and plan intervention strategies that focus on strengths and compensate for weaknesses.

Sally has given workshops and lectures for many professional and parent groups on topics including autistic spectrum disorders, remediation of social skills, learning disabilities, psychological assessment, and special education advocacy for ASD individuals. Most recently, she guest lectured at the University of Michigan and testified before the Michigan House of Representatives Health subcommittee regarding insurance coverage for individuals with autism spectrum disorders.

John Bloch, co-founder of AspergerLife, LLC, is Principal and Creative Director of John Bloch Design. He has more than 30 years experience in graphic design, advertising, and marketing communications. A graduate of Parsons School of Design, John has taught graphic design, industrial design, and drawing at Pratt Institute. He was also associate director for Workshop in Portugal ’74, a government-sponsored design workshop that introduced Portuguese students to product design.

John has received awards from the American Institute of Graphic Artists, the Art Directors Club of New York, the American Advertising Federation, the Industrial Designers Society of America, and ALCOA. His more
than 70 clients have included the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York Department of Cultural Affairs, Hearst Publications, Wagner College, National Geographic Magazine, Avon, American Express, and the United Nations.
